I build websites.
I fix websites.
I make websites work better.
If you need any of those things done, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
I don't design sites from scratch. If you have a design already, I can turn it into a working site. If you have a clear idea of what you want, I can turn it into a real thing. If you need a designer, I can put you in touch with a great one. (Seriously.)
I don't do major back-end coding (big and complicated custom WordPress plugins, for example). If your site needs some custom code to make it work the way you want, I can do that for you. If you want a major plugin designed from scratch, I can put you in touch with a back-end developer who can help you out.
I migrated this site from Drupal to WordPress, and implemented their redesign. This site includes a customised form to help visitors find the union that covers their industry.
This is a one-page microsite with a custom form that links to Marketo for lead capture.
I migrated Philanthropy NZ from Drupal to WordPress, and built the site to their new design. The site includes an events calendar, and integration with their online booking system.
I did the rebuild for this WordPress site, which included implementing their new designs, integrating Aweber mailing lists and Clickbank payments, and setting up their private members' area.
I migrated NZAP from Drupal to WordPress, and worked with them on a new design for their site. I set up integrations with Mailman and Mailchimp lists, as well as a private members' section with a public member register.
This was a plain HTML site that I migrated into WordPress so that it was easier for them to maintain.
This was a new WordPress site that I built for a local author. It includes integration with Gumroad for ebook and physical book sales.
One thing I particularly liked about Ed’s approach is that he listened and took the time to understand our business before suggesting a solution that was easy, economic and accessible and relevant to situation and he was there every step of the way through the implementation. The service he provided was also extremely good value for money.

As a group of volunteers, our PHANZA committee needed someone who was patient, could explain pros and cons of various website features in an easily understandable way and who we trusted to recommend the best options for our new website. Ed provided that for us, as well as fulfilling the brief efficiently and effectively. We’ve had great feedback from our members about our new website’s functionality and features.

His refreshing approach to building a website put us at ease. He has a way of taking the complexity of a website and breaking it down in a way that is easy to understand. We provided content and photos, and Ed worked his magic to create a website that truly understands its potential clients.

Ed was fantastic!! We are so happy we chose him for our web development project, and we will be hiring him again next time we have another website we need developed. He works very quickly and is patient, professional, and very thorough. We asked a lot of questions throughout the process and Ed very patiently answered every single one of them in an organized, thorough, friendly way. We give him the highest recommendation.

Ed was just amazing, I can highly recommend him. He was very good at explaining the process (to a novice like myself), each step required and how the site was progressing. He was creative, flexible, and always listened + responded to my feedback + questions. Thanks so much Ed!

I built a task exporter for Asana a couple of years ago that people still look for. Perhaps you're here for that. If so, here it is.
